Christmas at the Watsons

Jack's first Christmas was lots of fun. He is still WAY too young to know what was going on but he was a good sport. After church on Christmas Eve we headed to the Watson's for dinner and to see Santa for the first time!!

Jack was such a good boy meeting Santa, very laid back and no crying, thank goodness!

I love Aunt Betsey, she makes me smile :)

I don't know if you noticed but mom had to put me in my extra PJ's early...I am so naughty, always pooping on my outfits :/

The next morning, Christmas morning, we went back to the Watson's for presents and breakfast!

I just love Kimberly, she is going to be the best Auntie ever :)

Phew, Christmas is exhausting!

Cutest Baby

I just have to say, Jack is the cutest baby. He has developed the sweetest little personality. He is VERY chatty, I guess he got that from me :) and Saturday he started holding his toys, very exciting stuff! Hot topic with Jack right now is what color his hair is and will be. I guess you could call it strawberry blonde. His puff and mullet are darkest and his new hair on the top, yes he is starting to look like Mr T, is a strawberry blonde for sure. The puff is starting to get really long and won't be a puff for much longer...and...at the roots of the puff the hair is white...go figure. So your guess is as good as mine, but I think we might have a ginger on our hands :)

UVA has had a rough football year, as usual, but Jack is still a fan. How cute is he in this onesie from Uncle Cliff?

Oh No!

Two new problems:

1) Jack has been escaping more and more out of his swaddle...


2) I think we have a thumb sucker on our hands...at night and nap time he is swaddled but he LOVES to chew his hands and I caught him with BOTH thumbs in his mouth the other day...hmmmm like mother like son

Yay for Christmas and Christmas Trees!!

Sunday we headed out to get our first Christmas tree! I am very proud about how it turned out!! This year is our first Christmas in our house with the baby. So excited!

What Happens When You Leave the Men Alone....

John graciously babysat last night so I could go to Anne Marie's babyshower (I am slowly learning you aren't supposed to take your baby to everyone elses parties) and this is how I found them when I got home:
