Christmas Card Pictures

I don't know about you, but I had no idea how hard it would be to get a cute smiling picture of my kids.  I have been trying for weeks now to get the perfect shot.  I honestly could dedicate my blog to outtakes of the kids...ugh!!  why is it that all my pictures start out like this:

And in the VERY next frame end up like this: 

I guess I will have to keep trying!!

Halloween

This year we started Halloween off on the previous Thursday.  We had over Jack's friends for a Halloween playdate.  Both Jack and Annie were very disgruntled over their costumes.  Annie was going to go as a flower and Jack as a bee....

Since that didn't work out very well, despite my best efforts to manipulate Jack by reading him Curious George goes to a Costume Party, we borrowed Vaughan's fireman costume instead.  We also borrowed Caroline's costume from last year as seen here.

Taking pictures of these two has become almost impossible.  This is the best we could do with the two of them, even after bribing Jack with a cookie!

The trend of Jack not wanting his picture taken continues...oh to be 2 and "SHY"

Annie was PUMPED for a halloween party and trick or treating!

Jack loved the actual trick or treating part.  We only stopped by a few houses on our street and they were all friends of ours so Jack now thinks that you are supposed to go inside AND take as much candy as you want :)

When we got home, Jack decided he wanted to try ALL of his candy! 

Annie was the best sport last night!  I am hoping I do better next year in finding costumes!  Thank goodness for good friends and family!
