July 2010

July has been a busy month, I am sure you have noticed by the lack of blog posts this month. After starting the month of good with lots of fun playdates, 4th of July, swimming and beach time, Jack came down with hand foot and mouth disease (gross!!), had an interesting object swallowing incident with queen, had his 2 top teeth pop through and a cold!!
Jack is now 10 1/2 months old! He has started to stand unassisted for a few seconds, can walk with a walking toy or with some help but I think we still have ways to go until he is truly walking. His aunties Betsey and Kimberly came in town for a week and taught him how to go DOWN the stairs...I really am in trouble now :) He is turning more into a snuggler which we both love and really really loves watching cartoons in bed with us in the morning. Mickey Mouse clubhouse is his favorite...don't ask me why. He is eating more and more "people food" and fighting me more on the jarred baby food...I guess I can't blame him.

4th of July weekend we got to have a playdate with one of Jack's favorite girlfriends, Alice Tafel. We went swimming over at Queen's house and Jack got a lesson on how not to act around girls from his uncle Cliffie and Walter....very entertaining to say the least :)
