Tried to get some cute pictures of the kids after the baptism and this is how it turned out...

Goodness!!

Meet Jack, kamikaze baby. He just went 0-60 in 2 weeks! He is crawling fast, pulling up on any and EVERYTHING and getting into a lot of trouble. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if he started walking soon. I'm not sure how at 7 months he has gotten so mobile. The action shot below sums him up pretty well right now :)

Jack's Baptism

Sunday we baptized Jack at First Presbyterian Church. We were fortunate to have so many people there to support us! Jack was an angel, as per usual, although he got to yanking my hair pretty good while we were up there. Enjoy the pics!!

I Stand Corrected

Jack now has NO problem going from sitting to crawling. He has gotten FAST!! and continues to try to pull himself to standing on all lower levels, the coffee table, the entertainment center, the stairs, his toys, etc. He loves to follow me from room to room....except when he gets stuck behind the door...lol

Jack Update - 7 Months

Jack turned 7 months on Sunday!! He continues to be an amazing child. He is now officially crawling...it started out as a modified crawl/worm movement...but now he is very deliberate in the way he uses his hands to crawl, so cute! and scary enough he pulled up to STANDING on Sunday on the steps. I can't decide which is scarier, the fact that he is pulling up on the stairs or the fact that he is standing. John was walking at 9 months which is not a good sign for us. I bought our first baby gate, still need to get John to install it. Jack has gotten very fast and he LOVES outlets, cords and electronics...uh-oh is right!! Jack can also sit unassisted now but has a hard time getting from sitting to crawling. He is eating up a storm. Still likes veggies best but I have gotten him to eat applesauce and pears now without much of a fight. Squash continues to be his favorite. Oh, and Jack is a budding golfer...I know you are surprised :)

Observations from Cliff's Room

The past few nights we have been staying at my parents because the AC is broken and even with the windows open it is super hot in our house, one of the many advantages of having window dormers I have learned. I realized while going to sleep the other night in my younger brother's room that I had never slept in his room before which is weird considering I have slept in every other room in the house before...anyway, I had to chuckle to myself while looking around in there how little has changed since we moved in (I was in the fourth grade). Here were my observations:

1) Loves Harry Potter, snow globes and Clifford the big red dog...
2) Still has the stars and planets that glow in the dark on his ceiling
3) Has the same comforter he had when we moved there...it is denim to look like a pair of jeans, ha!!
4) his desk has not one but THREE different lamps on it; one for overhead, one adjustable hanging from the top corner and one adjustable floor lamp
5) One life-sized cut out of Dan Marino...enough said
