Stupid Camera

I am very sad. I was uploading my pictures from the last 2 weeks....a good 130+ of them and something happened and the upload was canceled. It messed up my card and I lost all but a few photos. Sucks. Jack is really cute and I'm sorry I lost those pictures. I guess I will just have to step it up to make up for the missing photos :) Here are some that were recovered.

It's Official

I have blue eyes! Mom and Dad weren't sure for a while there because my eyes were SOOO dark...but they are getting bluer everyday...and Mom is thinking that I might turn out to be a red head...hmmmm....

Jack Updates

So, yes, this is VERY late but in case you are curious we do have some Jack updates from the last few weeks. We took him in for his 2 week check up. We are excited that his pediatrician is the same one that I had growing up so I already know him really well. He said Jack was a shrimp :( He had already shrunk an inch so was 19 inches, which is only the 13th percentile. But he had gained weight and was 8 lbs 6 oz which is really exciting since I am breastfeeding. He is already growing so much and I just can't stand it. Friday Jack was officially 4 weeks old!

We took him to the pediatric urologist and he had his first ultrasound. His kidneys are still dilated but we are going to wait to have another ultrasound when he is 2 or 3 months before we decide to do anything. He seems to be healthy to us and is a pretty happy baby.

Long Time, No Talk

Sorry it's taken me so long to update the blog. Days are flying by (although nights are not :)) Jack is still a really good baby, we are really blessed. We took him to his first party Saturday night, an oyster roast for Sarah and Sean in Norfolk. I carried him around in the sling and he slept the entire time. We love watching his funny faces and although he doesn't know any tricks yet, I don't think he is too far away from smiling...maria says it is just gas but I think it is him loving me most :)
