Jack Updates

So, yes, this is VERY late but in case you are curious we do have some Jack updates from the last few weeks. We took him in for his 2 week check up. We are excited that his pediatrician is the same one that I had growing up so I already know him really well. He said Jack was a shrimp :( He had already shrunk an inch so was 19 inches, which is only the 13th percentile. But he had gained weight and was 8 lbs 6 oz which is really exciting since I am breastfeeding. He is already growing so much and I just can't stand it. Friday Jack was officially 4 weeks old!

We took him to the pediatric urologist and he had his first ultrasound. His kidneys are still dilated but we are going to wait to have another ultrasound when he is 2 or 3 months before we decide to do anything. He seems to be healthy to us and is a pretty happy baby.

I will work on posting more photos soon!

My First Date

Hi, my name is Jack, I am already VERY popular with the ladies. Meet Alice Tafel. She is such a cutie and hey, I like dig older women. Here are pictures from my very first date...I am one lucky boy!

Ok, enough kissy kissy time, Alice, I'm ready to eat!

Long Time, No Talk

Sorry it's taken me so long to update the blog. Days are flying by (although nights are not :)) Jack is still a really good baby, we are really blessed. We took him to his first party Saturday night, an oyster roast for Sarah and Sean in Norfolk. I carried him around in the sling and he slept the entire time. We love watching his funny faces and although he doesn't know any tricks yet, I don't think he is too far away from smiling...maria says it is just gas but I think it is him loving me most :)

So happy to be sleeping on Daddy

Escape artist...he is supposed to be swaddled, this is how we found him after his nap...

So cute!!

Look how much hair I have in the back!! (My "puff" and mullet)
